What you will be doing
Lead and own all design efforts at alba, setting the standard for quality and consistency across all design work.
Craft outstanding user experiences end-to-end - from initial concept through delivery - by applying UI/UX best practices grounded in a deep, up-to-date understanding of our users and their needs.
Balance user insights with practical constraints, particularly around feasibility and implementation.
Continuously expand your understanding of our users by leveraging all available methods and sources, including analytics, user research, and usability testing.
Communicate openly and effectively with Product Managers and Software Engineers to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment across disciplines.
Use prototyping tools to explore innovative interaction patterns and validate design decisions through hands-on iteration.
Occasionally take ownership of design projects outside core UI/UX work - such as branding, marketing visuals, or other creative needs.
What you bring
3-5 years of professional experience designing intuitive, high-quality mobile and/or web applications.
Strong passion for consumer software products and a sharp eye for what makes user experiences delightful and effective.
Solid understanding of core design principles and a working knowledge of what drives great UX, especially on mobile platforms.
End-to-end experience across all phases of the design process — including user research, wireframing, prototyping, copywriting, UI/UX design, branding, and usability testing.
Advanced proficiency in Figma is required; familiarity with tools like After Effects, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), InVision, or Protopie is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal.
